Q: Is there a registration fee or cost to get into the Bull City Bike Rally?

There is no cost to visit the Bike Rally.

Q: What is the time of the Bike Rally?

The Bike Rally will run from 12pm to 8pm on Saturday, and 12pm to 6pm on Sunday. The affected streets will remain closed to traffic (outside of motorcycle parking) from Saturday 6am until Sunday at 10pm when the natural flow of traffic will resume.

Q: What are the North Carolina state motorcycle laws?

Read the NC State Motorcycle Laws on the AMA website. In short, lights are to be on at all times, driver and passenger must wear helmets, and proof of insurance may be requested if you are stopped. Exhaust noise is monitored, and this being a downtown venue in close proximity to people wandering the venue, please limit your exhaust noise!

Q: Are helmets required in North Carolina and neighboring states?

North Carolina laws require the use of a DOT approved helmet. Virginia, Georgia, and Tennessee laws also require helmets. South Carolina requires helmets for those under 21.

Q: How can I protect my bike and belongings at the Bike Rally?

Generally, this will be a VERY safe event, but common sense rules apply. Do not leave items on your bike unattended. Lock personal belongings in your bike, or carry them with you. Be sure to lock your motorcycle. Park your motorcycle in motorcycle-reserved parking areas, either curbside or at parking areas you will be directed to by volunteer staff.

The Bike Rally will take place on West Main St between Morgan and Duke St.

Q: What is the location of the Bull City Bike Rally Bike Show?

The Bull City Bike Rally Bike Show will be held on W. Main st as a part of our Bike Rally activities which will be open to the public and free to attend. If you would like to display your bike and a part of our bike show. Please email marketing@ragingbullhd.com to sign up and register.

This is a Family-Friendly event. We monitor vendors, entertainment and participants for behavior, dress or display of items that are considered objectionable or lewd.

Q: What is the availability of Food at the Bull City Bike Rally?

You will be surrounded by many restaurants and will be able to try some of the best food Durham has to offer. Social will have a outdoor beer garden and seating area as well so you can enjoy your food at a table near the stage.
